 We are currently accepting resumes in our Incoming Payments department for the position of Incoming Payments Clerk in our Edmonton Head Office.  An Incoming Payments Clerk is involved in transaction and payment processing.  If you are results-orientated, have a high data entry speed, and can work in a fast-paced environment, then FIRMA wants to hear from you!

 Job Requirements:

  •  Post spot trades.
  •  Check online banking.
  •  Handle all end of day settlement deposits for all FIRMA Branches.
  •  Fax, email, and advise Edmonton’s Driver Coordinator of any bank drafts to be picked up.
  •  Enter information into the prepay spreadsheet.
  •  Perform “zero” deposits.
  •  Attach BBP print out to trades.
  •  Send emails to the appropriate stakeholders when funds have not arrived in our account.
  •  Send emails to the appropriate stakeholders when there is a short/over pay.
  •  Other duties as required.

 As the ideal candidate you possess:

  • Minimum 1 year experience in data entry or office admin.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent problem solving skills, decision making, critical thinking, job task planning and organizing.
  • Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment, meticulous attention to detail, work under pressure in a structured environment, tight deadlines, repetitive tasks.
  • Self-motivated and able to function well independently or in a group environment
  • Strong computer skills (experience with MS Word, Outlook, and Excel).
  • A demonstrated ability to work with numbers.

The shift is Monday to Friday 6:30am to 2:30pm with availability to start as early as 6am and end as late as 3pm to occasionally cover shifts.

 Total Compensation: 

  • Salary is $30,000 per year.  Possible 10% of base pay bonus.
  • Medical and dental benefits.
  • 10 vacation days, 5 personal days per year.
  • 0.5 Friday off per month after 6 months of employment with FIRMA.
